knee bend
Crouch then rise
A knee bend is an exercise in which you lower your body by bending the knees, then rise again—essentially a squat.
The term appears in fitness instructions and physical therapy: Do ten knee bends to warm up.
It can also describe any motion involving bending at the knee: The dance requires a slight knee bend on every beat.
