Kickflipped is the past tense of kickflip, a skateboarding trick where the rider pops the board into the air while flicking it with their front foot to make it spin lengthwise before landing back on it.
The term appears in skating culture and casual speech: He kickflipped the five-stair on his first try.
Figuratively, it can describe any dramatic flip or reversal: She kickflipped that interview into a job offer.
