Swimmer's leg trainer
A kickboard is a buoyant rectangular board held at arm's length while swimming, allowing the swimmer to focus on leg movements: She did laps with a kickboard to strengthen her kick.
Kickboards are standard equipment for swim training and physical therapy.
The term also applies to a protective board along the base of a kitchen cabinet.
