jabot

Frilly bodice trimming

A jabot is a decorative ruffle or frill worn at the front of a shirt or blouse, typically cascading down from the neckline.

Once common in men's formal dress in the 18th century, jabots now appear mainly on women's blouses and certain judicial or academic robes: The judge's robe featured a traditional white jabot.
