fop
Overdressed vain man
A fop is a man excessively concerned with his appearance and clothes—someone who fusses over fashion and grooming to an absurd degree.
The word is old-fashioned and slightly literary, conjuring images of 18th-century dandies in powdered wigs: He dressed like a fop, all silk cravats and jeweled buttons.
The adjective is foppish.
