human-like

Resembling a person

Human-like describes qualities resembling those of humans—in appearance, behavior, or capability.

The term often applies to robots, artificial intelligence, or animals displaying traits we associate with people: The robot's human-like movements were unsettling, Chimps show human-like problem-solving.

Human-like implies approximation rather than equivalence; something human-like approaches but doesn't fully achieve humanness.
