all-star team
Best players assembled
An all-star team is a squad composed of the best players from a league or group, typically selected to compete in exhibition games or represent a larger body.
The term extends beyond sports to any assembled group of top performers: They put together an all-star team of engineers for the project.
The emphasis is on exceptional individual talent gathered in one place.
