hand numbness
Sleeping limb sensation
Hand numbness is the loss or reduction of sensation in the hand, often described as a tingling, pins-and-needles feeling, or complete absence of touch perception.
It commonly results from nerve compression, poor circulation, or conditions like carpal tunnel syndrome: I woke up with hand numbness from sleeping on my arm.
The symptom may be temporary or signal an underlying medical issue.
