gunmaker

Weapon factory worker

A gunmaker is a person or company that manufactures firearms.

The term applies to both individual craftsmen who build guns by hand and to large manufacturers: a third-generation gunmaker, one of Europe's oldest gunmakers.

The related gunsmith typically repairs and modifies guns rather than building them from scratch.
