gravimeter
Measures gravitational pull
A gravimeter is an instrument that measures the strength of gravitational fields.
Geologists use gravimeters to detect variations in Earth's gravity, which can reveal underground structures like oil deposits, mineral formations, or voids.
The measurements are extremely precise—sensitive enough to detect the gravitational pull of nearby mountains or the tidal effects of the moon.
