equipotential
Uniform electrical potential
Equipotential describes points or surfaces having equal electrical potential, meaning no work is required to move a charge between them.
In physics, equipotential lines on a diagram connect points of identical voltage: The equipotential surfaces around a point charge form concentric spheres.
The term extends to any field where potential energy remains constant across a surface.
