A good guy is someone perceived as honest, moral, or on the right side of a conflict.
The term often appears in contexts distinguishing heroes from villains: In action movies, you can always tell the good guys from the bad guys.
It can also describe someone trustworthy or likable: He's a good guy—you can count on him.
