fly-past

Ceremonial aircraft formation

A fly-past is a ceremonial flight of aircraft over a specific location, typically to honor an occasion or display military strength: The coronation concluded with a fly-past over Buckingham Palace.

Called a flyover in American English.

The term also applies to a spacecraft's trajectory past a celestial body without landing.
