flooders

Those who overwhelm

Flooders are people who flood—overwhelming a space with excessive volume.

In online contexts, flooders spam chat rooms, forums, or comment sections with repetitive messages to disrupt conversation or drown out other voices: The flooders crashed the stream with thousands of identical posts.

In gaming, flooders may exploit mechanics to overwhelm opponents or servers.
