Rear wheel shroud
A fender skirt is a curved metal or plastic panel that covers the upper portion of a rear wheel well on an automobile, giving the body a smoother, more streamlined appearance.
Popular on American cars from the 1930s through the 1950s, fender skirts evoke the styling of that era: His restored Buick still has the original fender skirts.
