feedthrough
Cable routing connector
A feedthrough is a connector or passage that allows a wire, cable, or signal to pass through a barrier—typically a wall, panel, or sealed enclosure—while maintaining the barrier's integrity.
In electronics, feedthroughs preserve shielding or vacuum seals: The coaxial feedthrough maintained the chamber's pressure.
The term also describes electrical interference that passes unintentionally from one circuit to another.
