eyepieces
Microscope viewing lenses
Eyepieces are the lenses or lens assemblies you look through in optical instruments—microscopes, telescopes, binoculars.
The eyepiece sits closest to your eye, magnifying the image formed by the objective lens at the other end.
Different eyepieces offer different magnifications and fields of view: I swapped eyepieces to get a closer look at Saturn's rings.
