epicanthic
Inner eye crease
Epicanthic describes the skin fold of the upper eyelid that covers the inner corner of the eye, characteristic of many East Asian and some other populations.
The term appears almost exclusively in the phrase epicanthic fold.
Medical contexts may note epicanthic folds in certain genetic conditions, though the feature is normal human variation.
