Illegally blocking traffic
Double-parked describes a vehicle stopped alongside another vehicle that's already parked at the curb, blocking it in and often obstructing traffic.
The practice is illegal in most places but common in dense urban areas where parking is scarce: I'll just double-park for a minute while you run in.
Some jerk double-parked and now I can't get out.
