dodgem

Bumping ride attraction

Dodgem is the British term for a bumper car—a small electric vehicle driven around an enclosed arena at amusement parks, where the point is to bump into other cars: The kids spent all their tokens on the dodgems.

Americans usually say bumper cars.

The name comes from dodging, though colliding is half the fun.
