dipper
Scooping kitchen tool
A dipper is a ladle or cup with a long handle, used for scooping liquids: She used a dipper to serve the punch.
The word extends to birds that dive into water for food, and to anything that dips.
A skinny-dipper swims naked.
In carnival slang, a dipper is a pickpocket. (Capitalized Dipper refers to star formations.)
