digital comic
Screen-based sequential art
A digital comic is a comic book or graphic novel created for or converted to electronic format, read on screens rather than paper.
Some are digitized versions of print comics; others are born-digital, designed specifically for tablets or phones with features like panel-by-panel viewing or motion effects.
I read the new issue as a digital comic on my iPad.
