devtools
Browser debugging panel
Devtools is short for developer tools—software utilities built into web browsers that let programmers inspect, debug, and modify websites in real time.
Opening devtools reveals a page's underlying code, network requests, and performance metrics: I opened devtools to figure out why the page wasn't loading.
The term sometimes extends to development tools generally, but usually means browser-based inspection panels.
