demilune
Semicircular table style
A demilune is a half-moon or crescent shape.
The term appears most often in furniture and architecture: a demilune table has a semicircular top designed to stand against a wall, while a demilune window forms a half-circle.
In military fortifications, a demilune was an outwork with a crescent-shaped profile protecting a bastion.
