conspiracies
Covert coordinated plans
Conspiracies is the plural of conspiracy—a secret plan by multiple people to do something harmful or illegal, or the act of planning together in secret.
The word often appears in conspiracy theories, explanations attributing events to hidden plots rather than official accounts: She doesn't believe the conspiracies about the moon landing.
A conspiracy can also be a legal charge: conspiracy to commit fraud.
