cockfighting
Illegal poultry battles
Cockfighting is a blood sport in which roosters, often fitted with metal spurs, fight each other until one is killed or incapacitated.
The practice has ancient roots and continues in parts of Latin America, Southeast Asia, and elsewhere, though it is illegal in most Western countries.
Spectators typically gamble on the outcome.
