catboys
Boys with ears
Catboys are male characters—in anime, manga, games, and fan art—depicted with cat ears, tails, or feline mannerisms while remaining otherwise human.
The aesthetic blends cuteness with mild transgression, appealing across gender and sexuality.
Online, catboy has become shorthand for a certain type of androgynous, playful presentation: He posted a selfie in cat ears and someone commented "catboy summer."
