cat girls

Cat girls are fictional female characters with feline features—typically cat ears, a tail, and sometimes fangs or claws—while retaining a human body and face.

The concept originates in Japanese anime and manga, where cat girls appear as cute or seductive figures.

They've spread through internet culture, cosplay, and memes: Every anime convention has cat girls.

The male equivalent is cat boy.
