cardplay
Dealing and bidding
Cardplay is the act or technique of playing cards in a game, especially the strategic decisions about which cards to play and when.
In bridge and similar games, cardplay refers specifically to the phase after bidding when tricks are won and lost: Her cardplay was flawless, but she overbid.
Good cardplay involves reading opponents' hands and maximizing your cards' potential.
