butterhead
Tender salad green
Butterhead is a variety of lettuce with soft, loosely folded leaves and a mild, slightly sweet flavor.
The name comes from the tender, almost buttery texture of the inner leaves.
Boston and Bibb are the most common butterhead types.
The butterhead was perfect for wraps.
