bullet pass
Laser-straight football throw
A bullet pass is a football throw delivered with maximum velocity on a flat trajectory, traveling straight to the receiver rather than arcing.
The term emphasizes speed and force over touch: He fired a bullet pass into tight coverage.
Quarterbacks with strong arms are known for their bullet passes, though the technique sacrifices accuracy for power.
