broncos

Rodeo bucking stock

Broncos is the plural of bronco, an untamed or half-tamed horse, especially one used in rodeos for bucking competitions: He rode broncos on the circuit for years.

The word comes from Spanish for "rough" or "wild." Broncos also names professional sports teams, most notably the NFL's Denver Broncos.
