boilable
Can withstand boiling
Boilable describes something that can be boiled without being damaged or ruined.
The term appears most often on food packaging for items designed to be cooked in their bags: boilable pouches, boilable plastic wrap.
It can also describe foods sturdy enough to withstand boiling: Are these vegetables boilable or should I steam them?
