Chief lighting aide
Best boy is a film and television crew position—the chief assistant to either the gaffer (head electrician) or the key grip (head of rigging and camera support).
The title appears in credits as best boy electric or best boy grip.
Despite the name, the position has nothing to do with gender or age; it's simply industry terminology for second-in-command of these departments.
