lighting technician
Controls theatrical brightness
A lighting technician is a person who sets up, operates, and maintains lighting equipment for film, television, theater, concerts, and other productions.
They work under a lighting designer or director of photography to position lights, run cables, adjust intensity and color, and ensure proper illumination for each scene or performance.
The lighting technician spent hours rigging the stage before the show.
In film and TV, they may also be called electricians or sparks.
