ball change
Quick foot transfer
A ball change is a basic step in tap, jazz, and other dance forms consisting of a quick weight transfer: the dancer steps onto the ball of one foot, then immediately shifts weight to the other foot.
The two-beat rhythm gives choreography momentum and allows smooth transitions between movements.
