triple step
Quick-quick-slow footwork
Triple step is a basic dance movement consisting of three steps taken in two beats of music, typically in a quick-quick-slow rhythm.
It appears across swing, country, and Latin dance styles: The East Coast swing uses a triple step as its foundation.
Also called a chassé in some dance traditions.
