bak choy
Chinese leafy vegetable
Bak choy is a variant spelling of bok choy, a Chinese cabbage with thick white stalks and dark green leaves.
The vegetable is common in Asian cooking, often stir-fried or added to soups: I sautéed some bak choy with garlic and ginger.
