badge in
Swipe for access
To badge in is to gain entry by scanning an identification badge, typically at a workplace with electronic access control.
The phrase captures the physical gesture of holding a card near a reader: I badged in at 8:15 this morning.
Badge out is the corresponding term for leaving.
