backlinks
Sites pointing here
Backlinks are hyperlinks from other websites pointing to a particular webpage.
In search engine optimization, backlinks function as endorsements—the more quality sites linking to yours, the higher search engines rank your content.
SEO professionals track and cultivate backlinks to improve visibility: We need to build more backlinks to improve our domain authority.
