autobraking
Car stops itself
Autobraking is a vehicle safety system that automatically applies the brakes when sensors detect an imminent collision.
The system may slow the car to reduce impact severity or stop it entirely: The autobraking kicked in when the driver didn't notice the pedestrian.
Most new cars include autobraking as standard equipment.
