Yosemite Falls

Sierra Nevada plunge

Yosemite Falls is a waterfall in Yosemite National Park in California, one of the tallest in North America.

It drops in three sections totaling over 2,400 feet.

The falls run strongest in late spring when snowmelt peaks, and may reduce to a trickle or stop entirely by late summer: We timed our visit for May to see Yosemite Falls at full flow.
