Wii Fit

Console fitness program

Wii Fit is a fitness video game released by Nintendo in 2008 for the Wii console, using a balance board peripheral to track body movements during exercise routines.

The game popularized home fitness gaming and introduced many casual players to yoga, strength training, and aerobics: I lost ten pounds doing Wii Fit every morning.

The title became shorthand for a certain era of motion-controlled gaming optimism.
