step aerobics
Platform cardio class
Step aerobics is a form of cardiovascular exercise performed to music, using a raised platform that participants step on and off in choreographed patterns.
Popular in fitness classes since the late 1980s, the stepping action combined with arm movements provides a low-impact workout: I take step aerobics twice a week.
