Wiimote

Motion-sensing game controller

A Wiimote is the wireless handheld controller for Nintendo's Wii video game console, introduced in 2006.

The name blends Wii and remote.

Its motion-sensing technology detects movement in three dimensions, allowing players to swing, point, and gesture rather than just press buttons: My arm is sore from swinging the Wiimote all afternoon.
