Whitsundays

Coral Sea paradise

The Whitsundays are a group of 74 islands off the coast of Queensland, Australia, within the Great Barrier Reef.

The archipelago is a popular tourist destination known for white sand beaches, coral reefs, and sailing: We spent a week sailing the Whitsundays.

Named by Captain Cook, who passed through on Whitsunday in 1770.
