TransUnion

Major credit agency

TransUnion is one of the three major credit bureaus in the United States, alongside Equifax and Experian.

These agencies collect financial data on consumers—payment history, outstanding debts, credit inquiries—and compile it into credit reports that lenders use to assess creditworthiness: I pulled my TransUnion report before applying for a mortgage.
