Torres del Paine
Chilean national park
Torres del Paine is a national park in Chilean Patagonia, named for its distinctive granite towers (torres).
The park is known for dramatic mountain scenery, glaciers, and wildlife.
We hiked the W Trek in Torres del Paine.
The name combines Spanish torres (towers) with a word from the indigenous Tehuelche language meaning blue.
