Tommy gun
Prohibition-era automatic weapon
Tommy gun, when capitalized, typically appears as a proper title—a song, film, or stylized brand reference—rather than the generic weapon.
The Who's 1978 rock opera track "Tommy Gun" and The Clash's punk anthem of the same name both use this form. (Lowercase tommy gun is the submachine gun.)
