The Tick
The Tick is an American superhero parody character, a big blue musclebound crime-fighter who speaks in absurdly earnest declarations: Spoon!
Created as a comic book mascot in 1986, the character spawned animated and live-action television series.
The Tick satirizes superhero tropes through enthusiastic obliviousness and invulnerability paired with dim-wittedness.
